Trimble Buildings Rebrand

The Buildings division within Trimble needed to consolidate over 100 independent products into a cohesive system.

The new system rebranded the entire product line within the Buildings division. We developed a comprehensive system to establish unity across a diverse product line. All products were treated with equality through typography, color and structured design of their marks. The typographic system accounts for the product name and modifiers to denote sub-products, or unique identifiers within that specific product line.

Icon Architecture

A system was devised to provide unification of how all logos were devised. The naming architecture across all products was standardized, addressing how the product name is to be displayed, and when to use modifiers to identify product variations.

A cohesive system was developed for creating different product icons. The system had to be flexible enough to account for over 50 different product icons across Architecture, Structures, Mechanical Engineering Plumbing (MEP), and Real Estate product lines.
